Trump Says Tren de Aragua Leader, Niño Guerrero, Killed in Strike
Donald Trump earlier designated Tren de Aragua as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.
The US had previously charged the Venezuelan with providing material support to terrorism and directing a criminal enterprise
In December, the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York charged Guerrero with ordering, directing and facilitating acts of terrorism within the United States.
The US state department had offered rewards of up to $5m for information leading to Guerrero Flores’s arrest.
