A Kremlin-aligned channel has reportedly issued threats to obliterate Downing Street using Vladimir Putin’s Satan-2 mega-missile amid mounting fears of nuclear escalation.

Russia has tested a new intercontinental ballistic missile as part of its efforts to modernise its nuclear forces, and President Vladimir Putin has hailed the launch just days after his claim that the fighting in Ukraine is nearing an end.

The Russian leader has repeatedly brandished the nuclear sword after sending troops into Ukraine in February 2022 to try to deter the West from ramping up support for Ukraine.
