Israel strikes south Lebanon day after ceasefire extension
Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported strikes on more than two dozen villages on Saturday, including one more than 50 kilometres (30 miles) from the border.
Hezbollah has increased its use of small first-person view (FPV) drones to attack Israel, including systems controlled by fibre-optic cables to evade sophisticated defences.
Israeli forces have continued to carry out strikes in southern Lebanon on Saturday, following a strike on Friday that killed at least six people, including three paramedics working at a health centre.
Israel has launched another series of air strikes on southern Lebanon, a day after the two countries agreed to extend a ceasefire deal for a further 45 days following talks in Washington – although this ceasefire has never been observed in practice.
