Woman charged with planning IS-inspired attack on New York state capitol building
The allegations come five months after an alleged ISIS-inspired attack at Gracie Mansion, the official residence of the New York City mayor.
Jessica Bowie, a 35-year-old Albany resident, is accused by federal authorities of pledging allegiance to ISIS and plotting a bomb attack on the New York State Capitol.
She is charged with providing material support or resources to a designated foreign terrorist organisation.
The suspect was identified as Jessica Bowie of Albany.
