Wangchuk shifted to Safdarjung Hospital after 21-day hunger strike at Jantar Mantar

The 59-year-old has been on a fast for the past 20 days, consuming nothing but salt and water, and has lost more than 9kg.

The activist and engineer has lost close to 9kg from a body that was spare and lean to begin with.

He is demanding the Education Minister's resignation over the NEET paper leak and other exam irregularities.

His reaction came just after Climate Activist Sonam Wangchuk was removed from the protest site and rushed to the hospital by Delhi Police.
