US: President Trump pardons 11 people, including Clean Air Act violators
President Donald Trump on Friday announced full executive pardons for six people he claims were "persecuted" by the Biden administration for simply "fixing their car."
The Clean Air Act pardons benefited people who had sold or installed devices for diesel trucks that defeated their emissions controls, making them far more polluting.
President Donald Trump has been “privately discussing” whether to pardon Sean “Diddy” Combs amid the rap mogul’s prison sentence for transportation to engage in prostitution as the president mulls a broader slew of pardons—potentially as many as 250—amid the holiday weekend.
Trump earlier on Friday announced some of the pardons on social media, without identifying any of the recipients by name.
