US billionaire Jeff Bezos has announced plans to sell up to 50 million shares of Amazon stock

Their market value is $8.6 billion at the current price of $171.8.

The plan to sell the securities was adopted in November 2023, the company said in a report. The stock rose 8% on Friday.
