The Ukrainian leader has sought to deepen defense cooperation with other countries by offering the drone expertise his country has built up over more than four years fighting against Russia’s invasion.
First came a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv early this month that killed 24 people, including three children.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday urged President Trump and members of Congress to supply Kyiv with Patriot missile interceptors to help end its conflict with Russia.
