Trump slams US courts after $100,000 H-1B visa fee slapped by him struck down: 'Really crazy'
Court blocks Trump from charging $100k for foreign work visas
US District Judge Leo Sorokin issued the ruling in Boston on Monday in a lawsuit filed by 20 Democratic state attorneys general challenging the fee Trump announced in September, which dramatically raised the cost of obtaining H-1B visas.
The decision voids a policy introduced by President Donald Trump last year that raised H-1B application costs from a few thousand dollars to $100,000 per worker.
Approximately 65,000 foreign workers are issued a H-1B visa each year.
