According to the court ruling, Russia violated some parts of the UN anti-terrorism treaty by refusing to investigate financial support for separatist groups in Donbas. Nevertheless, Ukraine’s claims for compensation were rejected.
Also, the UN Court did not rule on Russia’s probable responsibility for the shooting down of the Boeing passenger plane in July 2014.
