Starmer exits PMQs for final time to standing ovation from MPs
POLITICO recaps five compliments the Tory leader offered her sparring partner in a departing gesture of goodwill.
Rachel Reeves broke down in tears at the end of Sir Keir Starmer's final Prime Minister's Questions.
Starmer, who leaves office next week, bid farewell to the boisterous weekly Prime Minister’s Questions sessions where he has traded barbs with opposition politicians and defended his government’s record.
Answering the very last question, his voice breaking at times, Starmer paid tribute to those he had worked with over his two years in office, which will end on Monday when he hands over to Andy Burnham.
