The German prosecutor’s office announced the arrest of two men suspected of preparing sabotage, including attacks on U.S. military facilities.
One of the detainees, Dieter S., had been discussing plans for possible attacks with a person linked to Russian intelligence since October 2023.
The prosecutor’s office added that Dieter S. was preparing to carry out terrorist attacks using explosive devices and arson at a number of military facilities.
According to Spiegel magazine, among the facilities planned to be attacked was the US military base Grafenwöhr in Bavaria, where Ukrainian soldiers are trained.
