Polish opposition forms new ruling coalition

The Civic Platform, New Left and Third Way parties now have a majority in the country’s Sejm and Senate.

Expectedly, the parties said that they are ready to form a government, the head of which will be Donald Tusk.

Recall that President Andrzej Duda instructed former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki of the Law and Justice party to form a government as the “winner of the election.” However, there is almost no chance of such an outcome – Law and Justice will not be able to get the necessary level of support in the vote.
