Police arrest 12 in ‘extreme right-wing’ terror threat investigation
A total of 12 people have been arrested as part of an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) in London, United Kingdom.
One man arrested is a pensioner aged 82.
The event, attended by about 15,000 people, was held at a country house in Suffolk, eastern England, from July 9 to 12 and mostly went ahead as expected, apart from closing earlier than planned on Sunday.
Twelve people have since been arrested in connection with the alleged threat, which led to the UK Ijtima event at Shrubland Hall in Barham, near Ipswich, being stopped early as a precaution.
