Polish Foreign Ministry summons Russian ambassador “on the carpet”
Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Andrzej Szejna recalled on Polsat air that this is the third time Russian missiles have crossed the Polish border. He criticized Moscow for such actions:
“In this regard, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski will summon the Russian ambassador to give explanations. Our further actions depend on these explanations and information,” Szejna emphasized.
We shall remind you that today a Russian missile again flew into Polish airspace. It was there for 39 seconds.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, various flying objects, including drones and missiles, have already repeatedly invaded Polish airspace. In particular, a Russian missile crossed the Polish border on December 29. It passed through the country’s airspace, entering it from Ukrainian territory, and then returned, the AFP news agency wrote.
