Perez Hilton hospitalised after livestreaming self-harm on TikTok

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton was taken to hospital after a distressing livestream from his Miami home triggered multiple emergency calls and prompted a response from local law enforcement.

Worried viewers reportedly saw Hilton, 48, self-harm in a video streamed on the social media app on Tuesday (2 August), following which emergency services swiftly arrived at his house in Miami.

Videos reposted on social media appeared to show Hilton covered in what looked like blood and repeatedly harming himself with an object during the livestream.

Hilton’s TikTok account was suspended minutes later.
