The country will complete the process of leaving the Commonwealth of Independent States by the end of next year by consistently denouncing all the remaining agreements concluded within the framework of this organization. This was announced by the head of Moldova’s commission for foreign policy and European integration, Doina German, on the air of Exclusiv TV.
At the same time, Moldova is carrying out the process of integration into the European Union. In June 2022, the EU granted it candidate status, and at the end of 2023 it decided to start accession negotiations with Chisinau.
