Ralf Schumacher has assessed the likelihood of his older brother, racer and seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher, returning to a full life.
Schumacher Jr. noted that despite new opportunities in medicine, his brother will not be able to live a full life.
“The accident was also a very bad and hard experience for me. Unfortunately, life is not always fair, and unfortunately it was not without bad luck here either,” he said.
10 years ago, in December 2013, Schumacher suffered a head injury while skiing in the Alps. He hit a rock ledge when he accidentally drove off-piste. In 2021, it became known that the athlete is unable to move independently and fully communicate with others.
