LIV Golf lays off 90 per cent of staff after season finale
The layoffs come after LIV Golf lost the deep-pocketed Saudi investors that had spent a reported $5 billion over several years to lure many top stars from golf's PGA Tour.

Two-time Major champion and former world No 4 Bryson DeChambeau on Monday published an enigmatic post on Instagram – photos of several LIV victories, with the caption "It was a good run." The post immediately triggered speculation about whether the American was quitting LIV Golf after his four-year contract with the Saudi breakaway tour ended on Sunday.
Given the future of LIV Golf is murky at best, there are likely some players on the embattled start-up tour who are wondering whether their future lies back in the stability of the PGA Tour.
