Milo Yiannopoulos, the controversial far-right political commentator who once worked for Kanye West, was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Louisiana.

The British-born activist was detained in Louisiana while in New Orleans ahead of a scheduled Kanye West concert, according to CBS News.

Neither ICE nor Yiannopoulos have responded to the BBC's request for comment, but his name and British origins appear in a search of detainees nationwide.
