French DJ Kavinsky dies aged 50
The artist, whose real name was Vincent Belorgey, was aged 50
The musician, whose birth name was Vincent Belorgey, achieved a gradual cult success with his 2010 song Nightcall, which was featured in the opening credits of the stylish neo-noir crime film Drive, starring Ryan Gosling.
Kavinsky, real name Vincent Belorgey, had reportedly been complaining of headaches in recent days, and he was discovered at home after a concerned neighbour alerted emergency services.
French DJ and producer Kavinsky, best known for the hit track “Nightcall”, has been found dead at his home in Paris at 50 years old, according to local media reports on BFM TV and Le Figaro newspaper.
