Ron DeSantis’ administration “misappropriated” $10 million in taxpayer money it diverted to a charity connected to his wife, but it declined to file criminal charges due to a lack of evidence indicating who specifically was responsible.

Florida Democratic Senate candidate Angie Nixon criticized Republican Senator Ashley Moody after a grand jury report named Moody in a plan to move $10 million from a Medicaid settlement to the Hope Florida Foundation, a nonprofit set up by Florida first lady Casey DeSantis.

Instead, DeSantis, who was considered a meathead when he was in the House of Representatives, went and got himself elected to run Snowbirdland.
