The woman received a six-figure sum after the alleged relationship with Infantino while he was a top official at European football’s governing body.

Gianni Infantino has “strongly” denied claims that a severance payment was made by UEFA to a female employee who was allegedly in a relationship with him during his previous role as the organisation’s general-secretary.

The British newspaper The Telegraph first reported allegations that the woman was paid because of an affair with the beleaguered head of world football.
