FBI will no longer investigate ICE confrontations, The New York Times reports
Trump administration has blamed Democrat-led government shutdowns for delays in federal agents wearing body cams
White House border czar Tom Homan warned of an incoming ICE surge in New York City, citing the Trump administration's refusal to be deterred by Mayor Zohran Mamdani's embrace of the Big Apple's sanctuary status.
Neither incident was captured on body camera, fueling public protests and demands for greater transparency amid the administration's broader mass deportation campaign.
The immigration agency’s extreme tactics have once again come under public scrutiny in recent days after an ICE officer on 13 July killed Joan Sebastián Durán Guerrero, a driver from Colombia, in the coastal Maine city of Biddeford, about 15 miles (24km) south of Portland.
