Dream Trip Turns Tragic: Indian Teen Killed In Horse Carriage Accident At New York's Central Park
An 18-year-old boy died after being thrown to the ground when a carriage horse bolted away from its driver on Wednesday at Central Park of United States' New York City.
Romanch Mahajan, an 18-year-old tourist visiting NYC from India, suffered the fatal injuries after falling from the carriage during the afternoon incident near Cherry Hill at West 72nd Street and West Drive.
The critically injured young man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The other passengers refused medical treatment.
