Dozens hurt in Bologna protests after man dies while being restrained by police

Demonstrators are demanding answers over the death of 42-year-old Abderrahim Fakir.

Moroccan-born Abderrahim Fakir died on Sunday after police were called to the Pilastro neighborhood on the outskirts of the northern city to deal with a man who was behaving aggressively and damaging a vehicle.

Demonstrators knelt with raised fists on Sunday, a gesture associated with the Black Lives Matter movement.

The video also shows two people nearby, dressed in the red uniforms of emergency medical workers.
