Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey leaked online as it crosses $600M worldwide, Universal ‘initiates takedown protocols’

Despite being released only a week ago, the movie was reportedly leaked and widely circulated across multiple social media platforms.

Director Christopher Nolan wants people to watch The Odyssey on the biggest screen possible – but two million people reportedly viewed a social media post containing a leaked copy of his film this weekend.

"The Odyssey" continued to exert a mighty hold on moviegoers in its second weekend in North American theaters, with $87 million in ticket sales, according to studio estimates Sunday.

Christopher Nolan’s film has been a box office and critical hit since its release at the beginning of July, securing glowing reviews and more than $600m at the global box office.
