Cambridge college head: Investigate media onslaught against Jason Arday

Arday resigned on August 5 after a former Cambridge researcher accused him of plagiarism in his PhD thesis.

Arday, 41, was found dead Friday, nine days after he quit as a Cambridge University professor and Jesus College fellow after both institutions announced probes into various allegations, amid a storm that has sparked racism claims.

Prof Arday, who resigned earlier this month after a plagiarism row, was pronounced dead after emergency services were called an address in Battersea, south London, on Friday to reports that a man had been found unresponsive inside a property.
