Bill Gates to face questions about Jeffrey Epstein from House Oversight panel

The House Oversight Committee sought Gates' voluntary cooperation after documents released by the Justice Department revealed unverified allegations and philanthropic coordination between the two men.

Several other high-profile figures have also appeared before the committee, including Bill and Hillary Clinton and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick.

The six-day survey, which closed on Monday, comes as congressional investigators continue examining the long-running Epstein case.

Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft and one of the world's most prominent philanthropists, is set to be interviewed by a congressional committee on Wednesday about his past association with the late convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.
