Australia’s largest drone live show suspended after 89 UAVs crash into Sydney harbour

The performance runs every Sunday to Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. above Cockle Bay in Darling Harbour through June 10, 2026, offering 22 sessions across 11 nights.

Almost 90 drones fell from the sky over Sydney's Darling Harbour during a popular winter light show, with footage showing devices splashing into the water, close to crowds.

The incident occurred shortly after the start of the 7:30 p.m. show near Cockle Bay in Sydney's Darling Harbour.

But a nightly drone show went terribly wrong on Monday evening as the airborne objects glitched out and plunged into the harbour.
