The Ukrainian president wrote about this in his Telegram channel. Zelenskyy thanked Zaluzhnyi for “two years of defense of Ukraine”. At the meeting they discussed “who can be in the renewed leadership of the Armed forces of Ukraine”.
“The time for such a renewal is exactly now. Offered Valery Fedorovich and continue to be in the team,” – wrote Zelenskyy.
Whether Zaluzhnyi resigns, it is not clear from the text of Zelenskyy’s publication.
