An entire U.S. armored brigade was reportedly eliminated at one point in the twice-yearly training, which took place in Germany over two weeks in April and May and is called “Combined Resolve.”
Under the exercise scenario, troops from a US mechanised brigade were advancing on the positions of a simulated enemy.
