Authorities in occupied Crimea recently halted gas sales for civilians this week as attacks against the territory ramp up.
Russia has placed floating buoys around the bridge, images uploaded to Google Earth and from the European Union's Copernicus satellites appear to show.
Power blackouts are now being reported in Russian-occupied Crimea in addition to fuel shortages, as Ukraine intensifies efforts to isolate the region annexed by Moscow in 2014.
