According to Volodymyr Artyukh, head of the Sumy regional military administration, the village where the murder took place is located in a five-kilometer border zone.

“Once again, I appeal to the residents of the 5-kilometer zone with a request for evacuation. This process has been ongoing for over a month, and assistance is provided at every stage. Russian terrorists continue to kill civilians,” Artyukh said.

Vladimir Artyukh recalled the importance of following security measures in cities bordering Russia in connection with this tragedy. He also expressed sincere condolences to the families and friends of the executed Ukrainians.

Russia attacks the Sumy Region

It was earlier reported that over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 22 shellings of the border areas of Sumy region. In addition, 37 mines were dropped in the Bilopolska district.

During the day, more than 100 explosions were heard on the territory of the Sumy region. Khotyn, Yunakiv, Bilopol, Miropol, Velikopisarev, Esman, Znob-Novhorod, and Druzhbiv districts were under fire.
