The occupiers have made some progress on the front line.  At the same time, the Russian Federation is using an increasing number of drones and intensifying artillery shelling. This was reported by the Chief of the General Staff of the Estonian Defense, Colonel Eero Rebo.

Rebo stressed that despite the limited success of the enemy, the Ukrainian defense shows high efficiency. The increase in the amount of artillery, shells, drones and the ability to work with them, has increased the capabilities of the occupiers on the battlefield.

Rebo mentioned the recent attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Which were aimed at destabilizing the situation in the country by creating problems for the population and the economy, including the military industry.

On the other hand, Ukraine’s strikes on Russia’s fuel sector, while important, are unlikely to significantly affect the course of military operations. Russia is ready to make significant losses and sacrifices to maintain its military potential.

The Estonian Chief of General Staff also believes that despite the increase in production in the defense industry in Russia, it is impossible to completely reorient the economy on military rails. At the same time, Russia is allocating significant resources for the production of drones and countermeasures against Ukrainian UAVs.
