The prosecutor’s office says that together with other agencies conducted an additional examination of the missile debris to verify the version about their production outside the Russian Federation. The results of the examination are promised to be reported later.
Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the Ukrainian president’s office, confirmed the Russians’ use of North Korean missiles.
“This is no longer hidden… Russia has struck Ukrainian territory for the first time with missiles obtained from North Korea. The masks are finally dropped,” Podolyak wrote on social network X.
The fact that Russian troops used ballistic missiles received from North Korea to fire on Ukraine during the New Year holidays was earlier announced in Washington. The USA plans to raise this issue at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
