Ukraine has returned the bodies of 121 dead servicemen. This was reported by the Coordination Headquarters for the treatment of Ukrainian prisoners of war.
According to the headquarters, they managed to return 12 bodies of AFU servicemen who fought in the Luhansk direction, 107 – from the Donetsk direction and two more – from the Zaporizhzhia direction.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are in charge of transporting the bodies and remains for handing them over to representatives of law enforcement agencies and forensic experts. After identification, the bodies will be handed over to the families for burial.
The Russian side received 29 bodies. Before that, the exchange took place on March 15. At that time, Moscow managed to return the bodies of 69 victims, while Kyiv – 100.
