G7 hails unity on Russia as Trump signals tougher line on Moscow
The three-day meeting in the French town of Evian focused intensely on Trump's deal to end the war with Iran and efforts to pressure Russia into brokering peace with Ukraine through ramped-up sanctions.
European G7 countries and the US are prepared to license Ukraine-based companies to build long-range missiles and air defence systems that are only made elsewhere and supplied to the Ukrainian military from dwindling stocks.
