China has rejected Ukraine’s request for a meeting between the Chinese premier and Zelenskyy as part of events at the WEF, which signaled yet another sign that China has no intention of seeking an end to the war and has instead sided with Russia, the publication writes.
According to a senior US official, China has refused any meetings after Russia urged it to end diplomatic contacts with Ukraine.
However, a Ukrainian representative denied this information, telling the newspaper that the delegation’s schedule did not include a meeting with Chinese officials and that Kyiv had never asked for one.
