Carney: Trump Iran deal ‘a game changer’

Carney and Trump do not have an official bilateral meeting scheduled during the G7, which ends today.

The United States and US President Donald Trump have shifted their stance on the war in Ukraine, adopting a position that other G7 leaders consider more realistic.

The deal, unveiled during Carney’s trip to Beijing in January, allows as many as 49,000 Chinese EVs in a 12-month period at a tariff rate of around 6 per cent, with that quota to climb gradually over time.
