The bunker school in Korotych will accommodate about 500 people at a time, which corresponds to the number of students and teachers in the local secondary school.
“This is actually an underground school where children can study. In addition, during alarms, this shelter will be able to accommodate people from a neighboring kindergarten, offices and other institutions,” the regional administration said in a statement.
The shelter has three exits, several rooms and sanitary rooms. Autonomous electrical power will be installed in the shelter.
