A former mercenary of the PMC “Wagner”, personally pardoned by Putin, brutally stabbed a mosque servant because of money debts. Then, he tried to return to the front.
Rail Khairov, a 36-year-old man, committed the crime. He had previously been convicted of attempted murder, murder and arson. However, he was recently pardoned for his participation in the war in Ukraine in the ranks of the “PMC Wagner”, where he went after serving time in a prison.
The murder took place on April 16, when Khairov killed Ibragim Isyanyayev, a 45-year-old man. Isyanyayev was the father of many children, a muezzin at the local mosque and a livestock trader. Under the pretext of selling two bulls, Khairov brought the Muslim man with money from his home and then killed him.
According to a source on Volsk.ru, Khairov had debts and devised a plan to rob the muezzin to pay them off. Isyanyayev was unable to pay back the money, which was the reason for the murder. After committing the crime, Khairov stole 300,000 rubles from the Gazelle, after which he set the car on fire, loaded the victim’s body into it and threw it into a river in the Ulyanovsk region, where he grew up.
He then tried to escape by traveling by bus to the “DNR” to join the militants at the front. However, he was detained in Donetsk. Khairov is currently in custody.
