The Pushkin Gymnasium in the Russian city of Shakhty has issued an obituary for its graduate.
Senior contract sailor Igor Meshcheryakov, who served on the sunken large landing ship Novocherkassk, died on the day of the missile strike on the ship.
The Russian authorities are keeping silent about the dead sailors. After all, there are no losses, as they say.
According to Astra, 33 sailors out of 77 on board are missing. Another 19 were injured.
