The body of the fourth missing American soldier was recovered near the Pabradė training area in Lithuania, U.S. Army Europe and Africa confirmed.
“The fourth soldier, assigned to the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team of the 3rd Infantry Division, was found dead near the training zone,” the statement said.
The soldiers disappeared on March 25 during a NATO exercise when their M88 Hercules recovery vehicle veered off course and sank in an unmarked peat bog. Three bodies and the vehicle were recovered on March 31.
