Boris Nemtsov was killed by shots in the back on February 27, 2015 in front of the Kremlin walls – actually right next to Putin’s office.
The assassination was carried out by Kadyrov’s mercenaries on Putin’s order. The most cynical thing is that the official russian authorities have identified the killers and publicized their connection to Kadyrov. The murderers, of course, went unpunished.
