The Russian authorities are introducing a new system of military registration. It will work in the country already in the fall draft of 2024. The electronic register will store all data on Russian citizens who are subject to conscription. In particular, it will include information on real estate, criminal and administrative cases, places of residence, including those not at the place of registration. The Russian military will have access to this data.
But the main innovation will be the electronic summons. It will be sent through the portal of state services of the Russian Federation. The summons, which will be sent through this service, will be automatically considered served, and the military will have 7 days to appear in the military enlistment office.
Otherwise, the evader will be subject to certain restrictions – he will be forbidden to leave the country, to register an individual entrepreneur, to perform real estate transactions, to drive vehicles and register them, as well as to take credits and loans.
At the same time, electronic summonses will be retained – military enlistment offices will deliver them, as before, personally into the hands of conscripts.
