CIA Director Arrives in Moscow for ‘Meetings,’ Reports Say

The United States has urged Ukraine not to carry out strikes on Russia while CIA Director John Ratcliffe is visiting Moscow.

The CIA director, John Ratcliffe, has made an unannounced visit to Moscow, US media reported, after flight data showed an American military aircraft flew to the Russian capital, where a US diplomatic motorcade was later spotted.

Flight tracking websites had earlier detected the arrival of a US military transport plane at Moscow's Vnukovo Airport.

Neither Washington or Moscow have confirmed the nature of the visit or who he was due to meet.
