Croatia orders detention of Ukrainian man wanted in Germany for Nord Stream blasts in 2022
Photos in Croatian newspapers showed two police officers leading Zhuravlev away, a middle-aged figure in a blue T-shirt and brown cap.
Croatian authorities on Wednesday arrested Ukrainian diver Volodymyr Zhuravlev in connection with the 2022 bombing of the Nord Stream gas pipelines that connected Russia to Germany under the Baltic Sea, while he was on the set of a Hollywood film under production.
His lawyer, Matija Miloš, confirmed the decision to journalists.
