Eric Swalwell’s home raided, devices seized by FBI amid sexual misconduct probe

Swalwell, a former Democratic representative, resigned from Congress in April following the sexual assault allegations

The escalation signals a sharp turn in the criminal investigations that have followed multiple public accusations against the former congressman.

The agents, armed with a warrant, stopped Mr. Swalwell at the San Francisco airport on Saturday and laid claim to his devices.

Swalwell has in the past denied the allegations and his attorney has called them "fabricated".
