Two students dead in Philippines school shooting including gunman, officials say

The shooting happened on Tuesday at a school attached to Ateneo de Zamboanga University in Zamboanga City.

Alleged livestream footage of the shooting, circulated by local media, showed what appeared to be a first-person perspective, with a gun barrel moving down a hallway, AFP News Agency reported.

The shooter was identified as male, a 4th year high school student whose father replrtedly worked at the Zamboanga City Customs Office.

The junior high school is a separate location from the university’s main campus in Zamboanga City on the southern island of Mindanao.
